Just go there ! Don't even think to book somewhere else !! Jamin is a great host and a one of a kind person !! The guesthouse is just perfect, nice and big clean rooms, great vibe, the decoration is beautiful !! A must do is to book a safari with him !! For the 3 days we spent out here we never saw a single tourist ! Raw nature at its best !! A lifetime experience ! Hussein our guide was the best !!! From cooking to simple talk he's been there for us the whole way even if he was sick the 1st day... We help him cook and set up our camp everynight !! We really really had a magnificent time relaxing in the desert where the silence rules and the stars light up your night !! Thanks a lot guys for this memorable time !! Inchallah you guys get what you want ! Carl + Aïcha 🙏 P.S. If you go, don't forget to bring candies and small stuff for the kids in the villages !! Hamdellilah

We asked Jamin, the owner of the Crazy Camel Guest House to tell us about his Camel Safari. He wasn’t pushy at all and explained everything we wanted to know about it. He also assured us that it will not be touristic at all. We heard other people who came back and were very happy.. So we said yes and did 2 days 1 night. We had an amazing time with my guide Hussein (who is Jamin's cousin). He cooked some excellent food (no spicy for the kids and myself), chai and black tea just for me. The food was cooked on the fire and was so delicious. The portions were huge, you won't get hungry... I always said to Hussein: just one more..and he always gave me two! He taught us about camels. He gave us mattresses and a lot of blankets, so that we were never cold. We slept under the stars. The next morning he cooked us a nice breakfast then lunch and we had to say goodbye. A great experience not to be missed. If you can go for more than one night well do it!! Thank you guys! The NZ family

I did the safari tour organized by Crazy Camel guest house in november 2019. there was one more girl who joined the tour. i am glad i chose this tour since it was totally non touristic. the guide Hussain, totally nice person and true person from the dessert. this tour gave true experience, cooking on the desert, sleeping on the sand under the stars. Hussain took good care of us and also spent additional time with me on the second day. he took also great care of two camels on whom we were riding. we saw zero other tourists hence this was really off the beaten track and motivating. one note from my end: Thar desert is not like Sahara desert and mostly you see bushes and grass landscape with some patches of sand.

Jamin at the guest house organized an unforgettable experience in the desert. Our guides Husain and Akbar were local men who grew up in the Thar desert. The camels are so healthy and treated like family. There is no animal cruelty here. We ate food made over the fire in the middle of the desert and we never saw another tourist. We slept under the stars and woke up to warm chai in the morning. We sang and laughed and made friends for life. We were 3 girls alone in the desert and felt so safe. I will never forget this as long as I live. So glad we never went on a commercial touristy tour. This is super authentic and local
