Absolutely lovely little palace at the edge of the lake. Beautiful old furniture in the rooms gives a throw back to colonial india. On the way to jodhpur from bikanar we stopped there for a break, the staff were very pleasant. I wish had known of it beforehand as would do a day trip in bikanar to see the fort... More

I worked with Gajner Palace and hence enjoyed the luxury of this beatiful red stone palace , with original paintings and animals.... this place is absolutely serene and away from the crazy concrete jungles... must visit if you like your palaces and peaceful stays with brilliant hospitality

A quite lakeside palace you can enjoy for a leisurely stay or for that matter, enjoy a meal at the lakeside restaurant. Lots of green surroundings with flora & fauna...spotting a peacock is no surprise...every now and then they seem to be very comfortable with people all around.

I stayed at the overpriced 5-star heritage hotel (hence my title) but you can visit the lake by paying them a small fee. On the lake you'll discover a wide variety of waterbirds and, if you're lucky and don't mind a longish walk, you might see some wild boar wallowing in the shallows too.

It's a private property. They will turn you away for flimsy reasons. The guard is dressed in almost army dress making it feel official.

We just drove past to view the Gajner lake. The lake is an artificial lake, which is 30km from Bikaner. There is situated the lovely Gajner Palace hotel on the lake, One can take a meal on the lake restaurant which I believe is pricy thats if you want to relax close to the lake.. There is also wild life... More
