After Lingaraja, the temple of Lord Shiva, this is the second most popular temple of Lord Krishna. The lord Krishna worshipped as Lord Vishnu along with Balaram & Subhadra.Apart from the beauty of the temple, this temple is also famous for is Prasad known as abhda.Swatik food cooked by age old cooks in earthen pot. Many people carry it along with them after visiting the temple. The food is available in anand bazar with affordable price. You can also eat it there by sitting in ground. It is not large as Lingaraj Temple and also not crowded as that of Lingaraja Temple.

It is one of the ancient temples in Bhubaneswar. People who can not go to Puri for visiting Jagannath temple, they can visit here. People can also find Abadha (meal) here which is known as a replacement of Puri abadha (Not really same).

This is the only temple where the idol of Lord Jagannath and siblings are made by Stone, other wise other temple has wooden idols. Just try pure Odia foods with pure Desi Ghee with Dalma.

Temple is very old and not maintained. Sarovar in front of the temple is not very clean. Definitely, temple needs immediate attention for better maintenance.

The Ananta Vasudeva temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, and has idols of Lord Krishna, Lord Balarama, and Goddess Subhadra. Lord Balarama was named as Ananta and Lord Krishna as Vasudeva. The temple is situated near the banks of Bindu Sagar Lake.

Thirteenth Century Vishnu temple opposite to Bindusagar lake and walking distance from Lingaraj temple.
Nice well maintained temple. Has Sri Krishna, Subhadra and Balarama as deities similar to the Jagannath Puri temple.
Cameras are allowed inside the temple. Unlike Lingaraj temple there are no other buildings abutting the main temple and hence you can clearly see the Deule style architecture with the Vimana, Jaganmohana, Natamandira and Bhog Mandira.
You can combine the visit to Lingaraj - Ananta Vasudeva - Parasumasvara - Muktesvara/Siddesvara - Rajarani ( in this order). Overall walking distance may be around 2kms.

Very ancient temple , near bindhu sagar and sri linga raj temple . The murthis of sri Jagannath , Sri Subadra , Sri Balarama are complete and exquisite . The ananda bazaar where sanctified prasad is sold is very good in terms of prasad that is sold . Taste n sanctify no words to say it's a must try . If puri depicts sankha ( divine counch ) this kshetra depicts chakra ( divine discus } .

1.No you dont have to buy ticker for the infant.
2.From any location of Bhubaneswar you will get a town bus or auto to Ravi Talkies Square. From this place its a three minutes walk .
3.You can purchase "PRASAD" at the temple or you will get some refrshment stalls out side the temple.
