The temple is a combination of very beautiful lush green garden with a marvelous architecture. The prime attraction is the big shivalinga. It is so big that you will worship the linga from the first floor of the temple. Many tourists are not guided by tour operators to visit such temples. But this temple should not be missed out.

Brahmeswar Temple in Bhubaneswar has skillfully engraved rekha deul and jagmohan. It is the first temple to portray musicians and dancers on the outer wall of the temple. Use of iron beams in the temple is also used for the first time. Images of Chamunda, Shiva and several other deities are depicted in the western part of the temple. The temple is a living monument with a deity, which is worshipped and depicted through the saffron banner flying from the top of the temple.

This is one of Bhubaneswar temples, so it is worth to see it to have a complete picture. Beware of the fact that the temple is still in use so you need to take off your shoes before entering.

Its a beautiful temple from outside. The pandits are also charming. We were taken into sanctum sanctorum where the Shiv Linga is placed.Only when the pandit started the puja did we realise that every square inch of the wall and floor was covered with cockroaches. Huge black ones which even tok to flight. One of the scariest moments in my life:(

Brahmeswar temple is present in the vicinity of Bhaskareswar temple . The temple is is famous for its intricate architecture and a remarkable pedestal for the devotees . The archeological dept has decorated the premises with lawns and plants .Overall a place of worth seeing because no extra time needed as all these temples are pretty close to one another .

This temple is a UN cultural heritage site. This 11th century architectural marvel is special and i personally felt positive vibes inside this, though rituals and prayers are not performed here. You can spend 2-3 hours if you are interested in the detailed sculptures.

Very good temple architecture. Worth visiting. All these are our historic monuments , but lost to don't care attitude. If not attended, will definitely loose out excellent relics of ancient architecture.

A Shiva Temple of 11th century. It enshrines and houses a Shiva Linga, apart from idols of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Shiva in fierce form. Tantric related images can also be seen here. The Temple stands in a court yard flanked by four small shrines. It is richly carved inside and outside. This temple is known for its sculptural art. It’s outer walls are richly carved with a number of images of Gods and Goddesses and also that of swan, deer, musicians and dancers.
The Temple is little away from the road and calm, peaceful and serene atmosphere prevails. There is a neat lawn on the way to the Temple. Also a big pond. No entry fees. Parking facility is available.
The temple is near Tankapani Road and at a distance of 3 km from Lingaraja temple and 1.6 km to Rajarani temple. Worth seeing and convenient being nearer to Lingaraja Temple, Mukteswara group of temples and to Rajarani temple.
