We visited Marur Baug Krushi Paryatan Kendra for an overnight stay after booking it over phone. The place is located in the village and you have to reach the place by asking people. You have to locate the school and then it is closed to the school. If you follow GPS, then you will land up in a no-man's land... More

Nice place. Place is apt as the name. Peackoks are found all over. Only take care that you don't venture far too close or else they run away. Try to find hiding spots to spot them. Hence the name. Wake up to the sound of birds. Amazing unlimited food vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Cost is economical. We found rooms very dark.... More

I visited this place in Feb 2016. This place has many small places to stay overnight & place to eat rustic home-style food. I stayed at Mayur & the food was awesome & the people were very hospitable. Dont have expectations to see peacocks in hundreds & thousands. we did see quite a few & the orchestra by 100 birds... More

If you get impressed by its web site, be sure to read remaining review. It sounds like some sort of Agro theme park with lot of activity to do for family. That would be completely misleading. Most of those 30 activities mentioned in the website are joke and can be finished in less than 1 minute each. Those are not... More

This place is a ripoff and a HUGE disappointment. First there are no clear directions/ signs on the road to go to this place and it took us almost 2.5 hours to reach here from Sahakar Nagar after stopping and asking for directions at multiple points on the way. The entry fee is Rs 500 per person which included breakfast,... More

Don't go -- don't spend your money on a place which plays the worst kind of music at extremely high decibels and caters to noise loving people that have no compunction about littering the whole area with used plates and glasses and all other kind of rubbish. Pune has become a very noisy and polluted place with atrocious traffic problems--... More

We had gone to this place specifically to eat 'Hurda' (Ponkh in Hindi) - that is tender sorghum roasted on a fire and eaten with garlic chutney, peanuts chutney, jaggery and curds. Huge disappointment to find out after paying Rs 500 per person, that the package price did not include Hurda at all. Hurda is served at an extra Rs... More

This place boasts of many activities and nature sightings. Guaranteed disappointment and not worth the money and time. The place is in shambles. The play area is not maintained. The garden is not maintained. Greenhouse/ polyhouse is a joke. Puppet show plays item numbers. Magic show was performed by a kid (not interested to show) being trained by his father... More
