Had been to this scenic point in Mahabaleshwar a long back ago. It is a popular tourist attraction and is visited by tourists. This point was named after Kate, the daughter of the then British governor, Sir John Malcolm, who used to listen to the echo of her own voice. The former name of the point was Nake Khind. This point provides a stunning view of the Krishna valley and the Dhom Dam. I admired this beautiful scenic point and got a breathtaking view of the surrounding area as a school going child. What you get to see from here is the blue stretch of water marking River Krishna, the Dhom Dam and the mountains with green stretch. Views are awesome. You will find some guys with telescope here. You could pay them to see through their telescopes. You get to see the intense beauty of mother Nature. There's an echo point here as well.…
