The temple somewhat looks like Triambakeswar temple in Nasik. Men are suppoesed to remove their top wear completely. Ellora caves are very close to this temple.

One of the 12 Jyotirlingas spread across, this one isnt all that crowded, I went on a monday, yet I could complete the darshan in around 30 minutes. Nothing really special or fancy. Men need to take off their upper garments here prior to entering the temple. A must visit on your Aurangabad trip. Ellora caves is just a couple... More

But if you are a man, you will have to take off your tshirt/shirt, shoes and belt. Then you wash up at a pond iside the compound and then you are allowed to visit the... More

The temple of shiva was so old.The important thing I have seen there that the men have to remove there shirts and vest to enter a temple.

Need not to say one of the 12 jyotirlinga. Attraction for history and architecture lovers. On special occasions and days rush for darshan which can take time. Food, puja material and parking available around. Feels blessed. Beautiful in raining season but children should be avoided at that time.

And 100 Kms from Shirdi on the Nagpur - Aurangabad Highway.. People are allowed inside Sanctum Sanctorum to offer prayers and one can touch the Shiv Linga.. Temple is open from around 5AM in...
