Amboli is a hill station nestled in the Sahayadri Hills on the bank of Hiranyakeshi River. This town is located on the Belgaum - Goa state high way. This tourist destination can be visited throughout the year but I personally like to visit it in monsoon. The town is covered in a dense fog, the greenery at its best and... More

Its a very coll place. In rainy season its realy fantastic and awesome. Its good to see than the Mahabaleshwar. For couples also its vey nice and you can have the pleasure of waterfall and rain. you must visit Kavalshet point where you can have the rain plus the water which will come due to force of air.

I drove to Amboli ghat from SawantWadi. This was for my driving experience and family vacation. I found it is a really good place. Sunset point is amazing. Kanda bhajji is a spoiler. Mostly nature friendly, my kids enjoyed ghats and watch monkeys. M.T.D.C hotel is also near. I would suggest go by your own vehicle to enjoy this trip.
