Not a picnic spot, those who love nature and animal / bird watch, must visit.

Very good place. Better time is summer as the main attraction TIGER can be spotted near water holes.

I went to Tadoba National park with 5 of my friends from 30th June till 3rd July 2016. We stayed at a home stay in a small village just outside the Moharli gate. It was an awesome experience especially sighting the tigers in the wild. We had 12 sightings of 6 different tigers including 1 tigress with 3 cubs. We... More

Situated in the Chandrapur district of Maharashtra in Western India, it is about two hours drive from Nagpur airport. There is abundance of wildlife. During our first safari, within the first hour itself, we saw a magifcient tigress, meandering in the forests. She walked and crossed our jeep path, walked back, went into the water hole, sat there a few... More

the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve. Located in the Chandrapur district, this sanctuary is home to tigers, leopards, leopard cats, Indian wild dogs, sloth bears, hyenas, wild boar, spotted deer, barking deer, blue bulls, four-horned antelopes, Indian pangolins and porcupines. The months between February and May are ideal for maximum chances of catching a glimpse of these beauties. Dense teak forests... More

1. 1. We (3 brothers) visited Tadoba Andheri Tiger reserve (TATR) between 2nd Jun and 4th Jun 2016. 2. We reached Chandrapur railway station at 9.15 am. We took a taxi to Kolara (where we stayed at Chava Kolara resort). The distance of 110 Kms was covered in 3 hours including a pit stop for breakfast. 3. The temperatures were... More

Tadoba has become popular with tourists because of higher probability of sighting. I sighted 2 tigers and 2 sloth bears, wild dogs, wild buffaloes, boars, deer, crocodile etc. But it is sad to see the mismanagement of tourists. There are no zones in the forest. Thus at the time of sighting the tigress "Maya" there were about 50 jeeps and... More

Tadoba National Park is about 30 km from Chandarpur. Chandarpur is about 160 km by road and 190 km by rail. One has to book jeep safari for morning and evening separately which cost about 2000/ safari and 750/ entry fee and 300 guide per journey. During summer season there is high probability of sighting the tigers as they come... More

We went here in Holi weekend in the month of March and had good tiger sightings.. There are two tigresses with 3 cubs each. We got to see the group of 4 and it was a thrilling experience. Apart from that you can see spotted deers, various birds, sloth bear, sambars etc.. But dominance stays with tiger. Jungle by itself... More
