This small temple is supposed to be dedicated to Lord Brahma. It is not as impressive as the other temples in Khajuraho, but worth going while visiting Khajuraho village.

The small temple is located on the banks of Khajur Lake or Khajuraho Sagar. The temple has pyramid-shaped sikhara (apex). This temple is constructed using sandstone and granite.

Brahma temple is built small as compared to other temples. The main doors of temple has been locked though one can peep through the metal grill.

The Brahma temple is just on the road and quite not used at all - on the banks of the lake. There is no stop required for this, just seen from the vehicle as you go to Vamana and Javari temple.

This is a part of the Eastern group of temples. Although the name suggests the diety to be Brahma, the statue looks more like Vishnu on four sides of the stone. No information of the temple so not sure though.

This was by far the most lonely temple of the Khajuraho temples. It was locked and besides there was no one around. One tourist tried stopping next to us, but he too went on ahead on his cycle without climbing up the 7-8 odd steps....More

This is the first Brahma temple that I have seen. This temple is situated besides a pond in the old Khajuraho village. The ambience around the temple would remind you of the golden time of Khajuraho.
