Most Beautiful Island
Mar 2021 • Family
I visited this island on 29th March with Samudra Package of SPORTS organization of UT if Lakshdweep. This is the most beautiful small island in the world. Its shape is like a strip, width of the island is 50 to 80 meter and length 5-6 km with acute mesmerizing tips of white sand and azure colour water.
We deported from cruise in open sea and SPORT personnel arranged small boats to bring us exclusive resort for tourist at the island.
At resort, welcome coconut water served. There wad a lot of recreational activities some were free and some reasonably chargeable. There was a lot of washroom, shower room with towels and body wash gels.
Lunch,snacks ,juices etc was good.

Good scuba
Mar 2019 • Couples
The scuba diving was good however the resort facilities were basic and the transfer from Agatti took 4-6 hours depending on the sea conditions. The people were friendly and the food was okay but the package was over priced for what was available.
The sea was clear but there was a lot of rubbish on the beaches and it seems like there was lots of resort staff waiting around who could have made time to solve this problem.
Overall, we had a peaceful stay but there seemed to be a lot of missed opportunity for the community.

Samudram package 2018

The jewel of the coral paradise. We visited kadmat on the last day of the trip. Each island of Lakshadweep is a treat to the eyes. Kadmat was more enjoyable with beach on both sides of the island stretch. Picturesque platter for the shutterbugs . We enjoyed a snorkeling, scuba diving here. The beauty of the world under the sea is worth experiencing.

Amazing Lagoon in India
Mar 2018 • Friends
Visited the place for open water diving course, first look you will fall in love with it. We travelled from Kochi to Kadmat by MV Lagoon ship, new ship and good comfortable journey. Food served on board was great. Once you land in Kadmat (you have to reach jetty by small boats) its blue lagoon all around is out of the world experience. Island is small and narrow, its long about 10km. We stayed with SPORTS accommodation on one side of island. Good accommodation, once you reach water, you won't feel like coming back. We went for PADI diving its was out of the world. I recommend all Indians, to visit this beautiful Islands. Word of cautions, no alcohol, no eating joints, no night life. Pure nature lover paradise. Must visit with families.

Unseen Paradise of India
Mar 2017
It was truly paradise for who love blue sea.. We reached kochi and from there we catch flight for Aggati island it’s on north of Maldives islands... from there we took speed boat to reach Kadmat.. it was quite bumpy ride as sea was rough and wave current was other direction in which we were heading.. but safely reached Kadmat island... it was different part of world every where clear blue sea water and white sandy beach.. not much crowded resorts beach end.. but village next to resort was crowded. Local villagers can't access resort area. lakshadweep sports authority was looking after resorts management.. not luxurious, just basic resort with optimum options with air conditioning rooms....

You have take permission letters before departing from kochi.. Even Indian resident also required same.. not visa only permit to control no of people visiting those island... because of less people traveling still marine life is preserved there.. corals are somewhat damaged due to climate changes over the year. We done many activities like Snorkeling, diving, deep sea fishing.. and other water sports.. we enjoyed our visit.. staff was polite and friendly.. Many foreign tourists were there but most of them were not that happy as they expected luxurious holidays similar to Maldives...

Unspoilt Diving Paradise
Feb 2018 • Couples
The unspoiled resort where you can stay at Kadamat is at one end of of a 10 km long, narrow island. Here there is a dive school, an outlet that arranges very good snorkelling trips by boat, the cafeteria that serves the inclusive 3 meal a day food and the accommodation. There is also plenty of snorkelling that can be reached from the beach which is a joy.
The accommodation we booked was in a detached bungalow with 3 beds, seating area with fridge and a generous sized bathroom, it also had a lovely veranda looking out to sea.
The bungalow needed some attention to it’s plumbing and electrics, we made a half-hearted attempt at the tv but did not bother with finding out why it did not work. The a/c and fan was fine. It was also very well cleaned and there were plenty of towels provided.
All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly - nothing seemed too much trouble.
We travelled from Kochi by air to Agatti and then on to Kadamat by boat. The departure of the boat was delayed to allow for Friday prayers and the trip then took 4 hours as the sea was quite rough, consequently about a third of the passengers were seasick. Take medication if you suffer! The plane arrived at 10:30 am and we did not get to the island until 18:15. For anyone staying just 2 or 3 nights this is a big percentage reduction and you would be better consider Bangaran and maybe avoid arriving on a Friday. For our departure we left at 4 am, dropping passengers at Bangaran and arriving at Agatti at 8. We understand that future use of seaplanes is being considered and this would be a much more attractive option.
The only beverages served in the resort are tea, coffee and water. A very limited number of soft drinks are available from the small on site shop, otherwise you would need to walk or cycle up the island to find anything else - or bring something with you. We would have liked to have been offered a fruit juice or cordial.
All in all we had a great 5 day stay but, with a few improvements, it could have been brilliant.

SERVICE
Very good, helpful

AMBIANCE
Homely. On Sunday's staff invites families to the resort and staff members are proud to introduce spouses and children to guests. This makes for a pleasant, homely type of relationship
with staff. Resident manager is always on-hand and makes an effort to establish rapport with guests.

ACCOMODATION
Good AC bungalows, about 50m from sea. While not being 5 star luxury, quite adaquate for our requiremens.

FOOD
Tasty, wholesome South Indian but limited choice. They were happy to host my daughter in the kitchen for a "cooking lesson"
(the food is prepared in very clean and hygenic conditions).

DIVING
Proffesional and patient dive team. Very good, new equipment. Nice diving locations.

OTHER ACTIVITIES
This is an inhabited island so one can enjoy a walk to nearby village. The residents are very friendly and welcoming to tourists, especially the kids
who are keen to practice some english. Beautiful walks, experience seeing sea on both sides. Many other water activities available.

Serene Getaway
Nov 2017 • Couples
Getting out of a passenger ship that sailed out from the dirty water at kochi sea into the small boat that rocked in the blue waters and then riding into an unbelievably crystal clear turquoise blue waters...is an experience in itself. Add to it the thrill of snorkelling kayaking and then just lying down in that water...One has to be there to feel it.

Beautiful but be careful
Nov 2017 • Couples
This is a beautiful island with all kinds of water sports. SCUBA diving was awesome. But be careful on the beach as the sand flies may spoil your day.
