We had seen some photos and read about Lakshadweep and started dreaming about going there. Finally we planned a trip. There were multiple things to take care - including permits. Got the help of a travel agency in Kochi for all those. Tip: People planning Lakshadweep trip, please start working on the documentation in advance - it may take time.... More

We took a AI flight from Kochi to reach Agatti. The first sight from the air, the tiny coral island looked like a glistening emerald amid copper-blue ocean. This is love at first sight, in real sense. As presently tourists are not allowed to stay at night in Agatti for some administrative reasons, we spent half a day on the... More

Beautiful and mesmerizing !! Agatti connects Lakshadweep island to the mainland via air. There is no airport as such. It's a small aerodrome. The view from the top is heavenly and breathtaking ! You generally get to see three diff shades of water - Blue, Turquoise Blue and Green!

Our package was arranged by Wish Bone India,Delhi via SPORTS authority at Lakshadweep. Reached Agatti on Friday and were mesmerised with the view of sea that airport had to offer. We were taken to SPORTS guest house for lunch. Food was simple but great! Staff was extremely polite. We had to take boat to Kadmat and had some time in... More

Agatti is simply the Best beach in India. Aquamarine sea,Powdery white sand, shallow beach with weak tides.... unspoilt by hordes of unruly tourists and unchecked commercial activity -so common in other beaches is totally absent. But,to reach there you will have to go thru hell. Starting from Police verification in special format from ur own police station(which no one is fond... More

Best trip in my life. Must visit place in India with international beauty. I did compared beaches of Andaman and Lakshadweep Islands. Finally decided to go Lakshadweep. People will always get confused between these 2. Only problem with Lakshadweep tourism is you need to get permit from Govt before landing into any of Island. Apart from this Andaman is well... More

Do you remember colour of copper sulphate solution from your school's lab days!!! Yes that is the colour of the sea at Lakshadweep. Lakshadweep is a group of coral islands in the Arabian sea. Agatti is such an island. It is a narrow stripe of landmass about 3kms in length and 100 mts wide. Agatti beach Resort which provides comfortable... More

The location of the airport is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. The water is so clean that you can actually see the coral life through the surface. The sea has various shades of blue.
