This is around 7 - 8 kms from varkala - good bike ride and nice views. worth a visit if u are mobile

Leaving Varkala beach and visited Kappil beach and lake was waste of our time. Nothing amazing to see. Dont go !!

One of the most secluded beach in Varkala. Boating options are available. Carry food and drinks with you while visiting this beach and preferably an own transport would be good.
