You can see good sculptures on the rock here. This temple has rich history and rituals. The facilities outside are not good for a place of attraction. Only road side parking place is available.

Janardana Swami is a form of Lord Vishnu.It is around 2000 years old temple situated near the varkala beach. You can Always gets Auto or bus to here from Varkala Railway Station

Oldest temple which is near the Varkala beach - Papanasam. The temple have the main idol Vishnu, also Siva and other gods are one the premises.. the temple is very calm besides the fact that its a major one in the area.

It was a divine experience seeing this 2000 year old temple. looks like it was in the sea a few centuries ago. A beautiful piece of our ancient heritage and a must visit if you are a hindu.
