Situated in Poonthura in western Trivandrum, close to the Sea coast and the Mosque is frequented by thousands of devotees, not only of the Muslim Community but other communities as well. A spectacular edifice, the Mosque is one of the famous pilgrimage and religious centres in Trivandrum.
The Uroos festival is the most important festival of the Mosque.
