Its an architectural splendor dating back to early 1900s & displays a unique collection of traditional & contemporary paintings of Raja Ravi Varma, the Roerichs, Tagore, etc. as well as some Chinese, Japanese & Balinese paintings.

Most impressed with the collection. Beautifully preserved. One can spend at least two hours here, if you are interested in Art. Again no photography permitted .

A separate ticket has to be taken to enter the Art Gallery. Photography is not allowed, nor touching any paintings. Security guards act as a guide to describe every detail about the picture if you show interest. Situated next to the Trivandrum zoo. Friendly and...More

Lots of antique statues etc. Ticket is taken at the counter of Napier museum. Photography prohibited. Must see when we visit zoo and museum.
