Everything about this place is awful. You are taken inside an enclosure to see two very sad lions that are pretty much kept there for the purpose of tourist voyeurism. It was a similar drab, sad experience for the rest of the park. Please save your money and do not support this type of cruelty in the form of tourism.... More

Very underwhelming. The park opens at 9am but we did not get moving until after 11am, you have to wait for minimum 15 people before the tour starts. Lion "safari" lasted 10 minutes. 2 or 3 lions in the park that you drive past. Crocodile park: 6 or so very depressed crocodiles in a pond (Steve Irwin would be very... More

There is nothing interesting here. And it is not well maintained. Not good for tourists. Monday holiday. I will not suggest this place for travellers outside from Trivandrum.

We went to this spot as we always like adventure trips and forest rides. In general the location was good. But there was no much of forest experience. They took us in speed boat to other island and then we travelled in van for about 15 minutes. There are only two lions(female) in the forest which was found with in... More

At least for Europeans very worthwhile to visit as I do not know a similar place. The lioness enclosure is the highlight. You meet them by bus in a fenced forest. The place is somehow inspiring and touching. Inexpensive as well.

Well this place has two lions, few deers and crocodiles. All of them are in a cage, though the size of the cage for lions is much bigger, and they'll take you inside in a bus. All these places are around the neyyar dam water lake. A boat will take you from starting point to the lion cage first, and... More

It comes as a package, the boat rides to the place where you can see the crocodiles which is no fun in particular, and to to the Safari park where a small bus takes you into the Lion Safari park where you could easily spot lionesses lying lazily on the way, and if lucky could spot a lion too. The... More
