This beautiful building is a great place to be introduced to Kerala history. Packed floor to ceiling with antiques, it is sometimes hard to make heads or tails of what is on display, so have google at the ready as you peruse the many collections. Many of the pieces are for sale if you wish to take treasures home.

What an amazing collection of privately owned artifacts. Very good English speaking guides, very interested in questions too. Some ancient art works, all collected by a private person. A very pleasant place to visit and be in awe of this unique art form from the South of India. A must see!!

A fascinating look at the heritage of this area. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The building itself is also worth the visit with its magnificent wooden ceilings. Hard to believe that this is all the collection of one person

* a little out of the way but worth going to see this museum * Building is new but built to faithfully represent traditional Kerala architecture * Huge collection of objects showing all Kerala styles of art from many eras - domestic, religious, and theater * Inside the museum are several small shops that sell local handcrafts.

Although the entrance fee is bit more than other sight seeing places in cochin but there are lot of things to see as you enter the museum.

A 3 floored building which is colorful and attractive that you feel like taking a snap of everything you see there. Entry ticket is 100 and 100... More

Well worth a visit. Fascinating collection of artifacts by one person over 30 years or so. Non profit making venture. Keeping Kerala history alive.
