I came here as my driver got me to visit the place. It has a small spice garden and that was not worth the Rs 100 entry fee. Worse, the guide tells you at the end of the visit that one could give him extra money for the explanation he gives at the garden. This is above the Rs 100... More

Compared to the thekkady & Munnar market it is very expensive & it is learnt from the thekkady shopkeepers that they give heavy commission to drivers. They are more interested in selling aurvedic herbal products which cost almost double the market price. Advisable to compare rates before buying.

It was a nice experience to walk in the spice garden and understanding the spices, and their medical importance. At time you may feel it as a marketing gimmick. But still a pleasant experience.

Nothing to say much about this place, just small numbers of spices and herbal plants are there. For 15 min walk through small garden, they are charging 100/- per person.

it was in our way from munnar to thekkady. very good and informative. sherry our guide was nice. I liked the shop a lot, better than other spice shops i visited , though the prices were little higher, but here more variety and information about the products was provided.

The name of the garden we visited was 'Indian Spices and Herbal Garden' We were very much interested in spice plantation so my driver stopped here in route from alleppey to munnar. Entry fee was Rs 100 per head (seems high) and one lady guide was deputed with us. She had knowledge and way of explaining the things was also... More

We go here on 12th March 2016 with family. Here our guide a girl. She explain us in our language hindi very smartly and clearly about all the spice palnts and other herbs. We found spice garden very informative, but after that shoping of medicine from their outlet was costly. We feel very good by observing the growing spice trees.

The most disappointing spice garden we have ever visited in the area - other gardens nearby are friendlier, cheaper and a more leisurely experience. My wife and I were rushed round a few plants by a guide with poor English, except for the word 'come'! All the guide was interested in was getting us to the shop area. Other spice... More
