Amazing view from the top. When I got there it was so windy and sometimes kids were not able to hold their caps. They were chasing it all over. Had a nice time and mindful of nature.

We touched Ramakkalmedu on our return from Idukki to Cochin. Nothing great except its very very windy & desolate - the winds are very strong & chilly - there was no one around except for a small tea shop. You can view the wind farms from here. The top has only the statue of Koravan & korathi along with their... More

If you have stamina to climb to the top of the Ramakkalmedu, you will be able to get a panoramic view of villages of Cumbam, Theni, etc . on one side and Hills of Idukki on other. The View Point is having a large statue of Kuruvan and... More
