When visiting kerala dont forget to visit Alappey back waters, the real kerala can be seen in aleppey. For couples I suggest to book a boat house. If you are with friends with less amount of budget than take a ride of government ships it will be better.

One of the best tourist attractions in Kerala a great way of relaxing is the one full day 24hrs Cruise at the Vembanad lake. The fantastic House boat and superb hospitality all make you visit again and again. ......this is a different experience than the hill station or the Beach or even the wilderness of a Tiger Reserve. A good... More

You can't afford to miss the backwaters if you are visiting Kerala! Its a soothing experience floating on the backwaters at a leisurely pace soaking in the sights of coconut trees. Add some soft music and you can easily turn it into a romantic cruise.
