Kerala an outstanding place...the peace, serenity and humility of all the people there is too impressive and enriching. After a long search, I called up Yatra Queen holidays and discussed my itinerary. They gave me many options for hotels which were highly appreciated by me as the package offered by them was most cheap and competitive compared to other travels.... More

Firstly, I will say do a day tour, not an overnight stay. The backwaters are beautiful stretch of rivers and passages, spreading through rich green fields and foliage, eventually running into a huge lake, which we were told sits a number of metres below sea level. You see rice farmers working the fields and women washing clothes in the river,... More

My boyfriend and I arrived at Alleppey with high hopes as we have been told by many this was an experience not to be missed. We had been told we HAD to do an overnight stay on a houseboat! Not to be missed! However I would never stay in a houseboat again after the experience we had. As soon as... More

We were travelling in House Boat on first week of Sep 16. The experience was really awesome and you wont feel you're in a boat since it was moving very slowly. The view and the areas around it is really relaxing when compared to the city life. When we arrived we were welcome with the very good lunch. I usually... More

We booked a Houseboat tour from company AMRUTHAM HOUSEBOAT and it was really excellent in all terms. We celebrated our Honeymoon in Lake. Boat was specially for us with a top deck. All meals freshly done for us hot from kitchen. Stay in a Kerala boat is the best way to enjoy the nature I think.

We took a mini can from our hotel straight to a boat. The boat was a small six seater that we had to ourselves with a driver. The Backwaters are quite extensive shockingly dirty with plastic bags and bottlles very visible The only wildlife seen was a Kingfisher with a motor going nothing is going to hang around We were... Although we had a wonderful time cruising the Kerala backwaters (the scenery is just blissful!), we were very disappointed with the the whole organisation put in place by prasanthyhouseboats. We were supposed to have an 8 bedroom boat, fairly modern with a full fitted Kitchen (and not a downgraded one) - as per the photos. The cook was smoking whilst... More

My trip was booked through a travel agent (Asian Routes) and paid for a luxury boat. i read some of the reviews before, however trusted that since i went through an agent i... More

We were in the Marvel cruise houseboat for an overnight trip. Its a unique experience, and I would recommend it. We booked this 2 bedroom houseboat through Expedia. It was a nice breeze all along when the boat was moving. The food served by the staff was simple but good. In the night time we docked and the ac in... More
