The historical place which can be accessed by walk from main road. However, the main gate appears to be closed and there are chances that you may not notice this place. Vehicles needs to be parked on main road and take a walk of 10 minutes through the park to reach actual place(rock). The rock appears like a skull shaped... More

Keeping it short: Don't waste your time unless you have rock fetish. This place is difficult to find, even though it's on a road side! After reaching the place and till the time we left, we were the sole visitors. I think people already knew something that we didn't☺.

Phantom rock It's a rock.. but for trekking it's a good one and for camping also..but it's too risk... May fall off any time. Not sure about it.but it's a nice view from there. It's like a sort of view point.. also there is no safety to go to that rock. Visiting time is from 9am to 5pm. But there... More

Phantom rock is not a visiting/tourist place. Do not know why it is considered like that. This place is near Edakkal caves. From the main road one has to walk towards rock in small path. The area is surrounded by many big rocks, this place looks like place suitable for illegal activities. it is not developed. Not a visiting place.

It's a decent place to spend some time to relax ourselves on the way to edakkal caves. You can deviate to the route, stop there and have a look, take some rest and start journey again. Its not a place for more than half an hour. The rock looks good in its unique shape like a skull or phantom from... More

It is especially for those who seek adventure. Good place to visit. However, quarrying at nearby places may leave your mind a bit unhappy. Not advisable for families. Roads to the spot is not that good while nearing the spot.

I wonder why Phantom Rock gets such a notable mention in the tourist attractions in Wayanad. It is nothing but a skull shaped rock resembling a human face or more so that of the well known cartoon character Phantom. The place is close to Edakkal, another famous tourist spot in Wayanad. The district has more beautiful attraction worth visit. So... More

First of all it isn't a celebrated tourist spot as no proper sign board was there. Moreover we have to go through some private quarry owners property to reach there. But yes the view of wayanad from there was pretty good and the rock unique in it's own way. Anyways not a much see at Wayanad. It's on the way... More
