On our way to mangalore decided to stop here to see the beach, heard about it and the lighthouse here. The beach is quiet mostly, that day there was a movie sequence being shot so there was a small crowd. we did not see any watersports being conducted here like in Malpe or panambur. You can walk along the beach... More

One of the best beaches along the west coast. Very peaceful. You can choose to walk along the beach either on the sands or on the small tar road along the shore. You can walk from the light house to the end of tar road which takes you back to the highway. There is a hotel Red Rock Residency where... More

One of the beautiful beach in Mangaluru, Not much crowded, very clean beach and water. Visited with friends and played volley ball at the beach. Please don't forget to carry necessary requirements like water bottles and refreshments. There is no nearby shops or restaurants. If you are looking to spend a day at a beach with family or friends then... More

This beach is more calmer due to less crowd, when compared to other famous beaches around Mangalore. Beach is clean, but has many rocks and currents are little stronger. So getting into water is not advised in this beach. Beach also has a temple and light house from which views are excellent.

since this beach is on the outskirts, it is pretty clean and is not thronged by many people which makes it a soothing experience and nice place to hang around with your loved and dear ones

Suratkal beach is located on the outskirts of Mangalore city and is free from all the hustle bustle. The beach is very clean compared to other beaches as not many people visit this place. Its kind of secluded place which add to its beauty
