The 3 hour Saturday morning walk was led by Mr. Ali who knows the area and history from his personal background. Aside of the neighborhood temples the highlights were the silk washery and small weaving factory. These are locations down small alleys I would never have found alone. The hard working conditions - the noise and the heat - gave me new respect for the labor that goes into any beautiful sari we may find in a store. I am in for another tour next Saturday!
