The Neo-Dravidian-style Vidhana Soudha is the seat of the state legislature while the red Attara Kacheri houses the High Court. In 2005, an annex called the Vikas Soudha was inaugurated, designed as an exact replica of the Vidhana Soudha. Though these buildings cannot be visited, they can be viewed from the outside.

I had the opprortunity to enter the premises as it was a business visit for me. However I think, other people can enter the premises from gate3. Can try as security wasnt very particular aboyt who is entering. Must say that the building is magnificent. The premises is very well kept. Worth visiting.

Vidhana Soudha is the epicenter of Karnataka politics and host of all Administrative Heads of the state. This building is akin to the Parliament building of New Delhi. The building is very large and hosts thousands of Govt. employees. This building is not open to public, however, general public do take selfies standing in front of this building all through... A huge, impressive building with a lot of columns and lions on the top of the building, representing India's coat of arm.

Both the building and the roads surrounding it are immaculately maintained and reminiscent of Rajpath/India Gate in Delhi. It is the seat of the Karnataka legislature. I think you need special permission to go in. The building is huge and unique and provides plenty of photo opportunities. Nearby are the Karnataka High Court (red sandstone building) and Cubbon Park. It... More

The Vidhan Soudha is the State Legislative Assembly building in Bengaluru, which is the capital of the state of Karnataka. The Attara Kacheri is the High Court building as it is called in the local language. Both these buildings have beautiful Colonial architecture and are the iconic landmarks of the city. They are situated opposite each other, and very near... More
