It is one single tree that covers an area of approx 3 acres and has roots that look as big as a tree trunk on its own! This is not... More

The Big Banyan tree of Bengaluru is quite famous and people in this part of the world knew about this big tree and might have visited at least once in their lifetime. However, just like any other tourist attraction, this place is too plagued by apathy of public maintenance and therefore, slowly & steadily this place is loosing charm. The... More

Its a beautiful tree very well preserved. The monkeys are a menace though. Best not to carry food items.

One of those places with a just 1 attraction but not much else. This is a park with a huge, old banyan tree that spans almost a kilometre with its dangling roots. If you're avid gardener, you can visit this place and stop by nuseries for your gardening essentials. The place alone does not merit navigating the city traffic and... More

5 stars for the area around the Banyan tree, topsy turvy roads to drive facing the setting sun brings peace to mind!

Nice experience once reaching the location, minor problem with monkeys that is manageable, food you have to manage from your side as there is no hotel near by rather having kinda bakeries. Government needs to encourage this type of places to increase visitors. Overall one time visit .cheers

It's a huge tree, you will never be able to figureout which one is the main branch. They say, the tree is surviving without it's main trunk which was removed due to some disease. Beware of monkey, they snatch if you have a eatables in your hand. Overall good and pleasent place.
