Safari is the only best thing. Zoo is not maintained well. If you want to go for zoo, Mysore is the best.

Bannerghatta National Park lies on the outskirts of Bangalore. It houses a variety of animals and birds with special mention to reptiles including many varieties of snakes and crocodiles. A number of different types of birds can also be seen. Tiger, bears, apes are present as well. The safari ride is the best part which can not be missed. The... More

Compared to other national parks / zoos this is the best place to visit. The trip is not complete without the Zoo Safari. It is well connected to the city with many buses plying from both Silkboard and Majestic. One may have to start early as 8 AM to cross the BTM Layout traffic. We spent a full day at... More

Hello people, i recently visited this place and it's GOOD.. Some points below: First Please DON'T waste your time and money for Butterfly park, really there is nothing to see there and they charge extra Rs30 per head for that. Second Safari is not that good, they have very few animals enclosed in small enclosures. They only have few Lions,... More

Totally recommended. Nice Zoo and plenty of time to spend. You can also go on a safari but its individual choice. Totally a day outing in the wild.

It's a good one but not the best. I have heard from couple of family friends of mine that Mysore is very good compared to bannergatta zoo.
