This place is beautiful. Great guides. Tasty and highly hygienic fruits. Tasty Jams, juices and a number of condiments. Nice nursery for saplings for exotic plants. Varied indigenous and Foreign fruits like Cacao, Mangoes, Bamboos, Pineapples, Mangosteen, Rambutans. Last but not least they have a lovely homestay in the middle of preety palm and pepper groves.Sights to bee seen so hurry up.

A pleasant stop
Mar 2018 • Couples
We stopped in for lunch and a walk around the orchard - the feel was that of a catering for the masses and the tourists were marched through the orchard, the lunch and the pineapple juice tasting - but then it was just a tourist stop! As a vegetarian, there was enough of a selection, despite the disbelief that anyone would willingly not eat meat! An enjoyable break in a rushed day! I would also point out that the facilities were clean and pleasant!

In touch with mother nature
Jan 2017 • Family
This is a must visit for nature lovers. You need to stay here at least for one night in order to appreciate the atmosphere. They have a very basic cottage facility that you can rent. Early morning walk in the farm is amazing, in the company of many peacocks. Lots of pineapple plants in the farm along with a host of other exotic fruits we never knew about. The owner is very forthcoming and eager to teach you. Do try their products. The pineapple juice especially is amazing. So is the jam.

Botany at its best
Nov 2016 • Couples
The staff who show you around, who happen to be the owners are full of knowledge. By the time you have had a walk around you would have come across plants that you never knew existed and depending on the season many different fruits. Try to make the effort to visit this place if you are in the area.

Nature and Farm lovers' delight
Dec 2015
There is nothing more pleasant than nature's beauty. The hospitality of Dakshina Kannada and the pleasing lush farms will make you forget the world for the moments you will be at Soans Farm. Their home grown products are worth your money.

Must visit!
Sep 2016 • Friends
The second mr Soan opened his mouth you understood that he really knew what he was talking about. The farm was beautiful and both the men were so lovely ❤️ I hope to go back in the summer when more of the fruits and plants are ready to eat.

For the love of pineapple
Jul 2015 • Solo
Soans farm is a horticulture hotspot at the base of the western ghats, but the residing king of the farm is undoubtably Mr. Pineapple.
It is worth travelling miles just for the pineapple juice.I once travelled all the way from bangalore over a weekend just to get a few bottles. And then you have the amazing pineapple candies. I'm chewing on one as i write this review :-)
If you are in the region and love your fruits and spices , Soans farm is a must visit.

Day out from the Star Pride
Apr 2015 • Couples
We were taken here on a trip out from our cruise ship the Star Pride and we found the experience very enlightening. Our hosts Mr L Soans and Mr I Soans walked us around the farm where they have in the region of 200 different plants ranging from the Diesel Tree to the Barbados Cherry. We also saw cocoa beans being extracted from their pods. After the tour were able to buy fresh fruit, such as mangos and pineapple which we took back to the ship. Outstanding property, well done.
