This is a place which will give you shivers. You'll get to know and see the bravest stories. Equipments are kept which were actually used. Have maps and models of the terrain in which our Army works.

I know i am very late in answering the question but let me answer it for other readers. The dates mentioned by you is not the best time to go but it is feasible. In my opinion, best time would be mid june to mid of august.

Drsel, Your itinerary is perfect. On day-5, take night stay at Uleytopko. You can visit Lamaruyu on the way to Uley from Kargil. Day-6 is perfect. in 1st half Of day-7 you can do white water rafting at Nimmu. On day -6 You can book rafting package from leh market. On day-7 include rafting. Day-8 is perfect. Hi Your itinerary seems perfect considering the number of days you have in Ladakh. For the day 4, I think Pangong will be a better option than Tso-moriri, as for the latter one night halt is required. and for the Manali, I think you should spend 1 day there for some local sightseeing and the next day early in the morning you start moving towards Leh. Hi Rapat 1 s/s mentioned on D2 will not be possible, better would be that on D2 you cover upto Lamayuru in sham valley. Local monastery trip can be combined with Pangong lake being on same route 2 You may have to increase a little your budget because exclusive SUV may cost approx Rs 20000/= for this itinerary
