Serene ancient wooden mosque by the river. As non-Muslims we were welcome to walk around the mosque and view the stunning interior and intricately painted wooden walls.

The building is a beautiful model of wooden architecture of Kashmir, with engravings on walls. The sacred relics include the Prophet's flag, the pillar of the Prophet's tent, and Shah Hamadan's walking stick.

The Mosque is a historical place with amazing Islamic Architecture. Beautiful papier Mache and wood craving work. The best way to visit this Mosque would be from Shikara ride and also you can see all the old bridges of Srinagar old town.

It's a medieval mosque built by a Persian. It has a unique history that will be taught at the entrance. Non Muslims cannot enter, but they will help you view the inside.
