This lake is situated away from the city and there is not much crowd. Dal lake was heavily crowded with both tourists as well as vendors. Contrary to that this lake was clean, quiet. Nigeem lake seems to be less occupied, compared to Dal lake. Watrching sunset from our houseboat at this lake in July 2016 was a serene experience.

Non commercial peaceful lake. A shikara ride here would let you enjoy nature at its best. Lovely water lilies and tranquil waters give you an opportunity for captivating photo-shoots.

Still, and very fortunately uninflected by the chaos and rampage that runs through the rest of the city. Quality houseboats such as Inshallah with heritage families and Kashmiri hospitality.
