a garden which finds a mention in textbooks of our times, is worth a visit. its huge, sitting magnificiently at the banks of Dal lake. its potentials needs to be exploited. this is another such tourist spot which appears to have been neglected by the concerned authorities. the lush green lawns are no more lush. visitors have crushed the lawns by walking on them. the fountains need to be looked into . cleanliness is one more aspect requiring full attention. one could have more flowering plants which grow effortlessly in this region. if things are done, i am sure this would be the eden gardens of heaven

Visited in July. The Gardens are extremely crowded, people bathing and swimming in the water fountains and pools. So much Trash everywhere despite signs. Such a poor sight to see! Would not recommend. Skip it.

Visited the Mughal Gardens in Srinagar for the third time and am sorry to find that its splendor keeps on fading over the years. It is still a beautiful place to stroll through never the less, with its majestic landscaping, fountains and architecture. A must see if you ever find yourself in Srinagar.

It’s located to the eastern side of Dal lake.
.
The beautiful water ponds, green lawns and springs shoes makes it perfect.
.
Many Mughal Emperors including Babur and Aurangzeb used to stay here while traveling between Kabul and other cities and that’s why it’s called Mughal Garden.
.
According to me it is was a romantic place.

Flowers in this garden were wonderful and architecture inside this place was beautiful. It is situated in a location surrounded by mountains. Those scenic locations would be a visual treat for tourists there..

The best garden in Srinagar. If u have seen this u need not go elsewhere. The garden was made by the Mughals and the water was fresh. Now it is pumped from the dal. The garden is food till the middle so save your breath. Walk the side to enjoy more. Just sit in a corner and ull like. Take loads of pics as you'll remember it for a long time. Go when sunny.

The Mughal gardens were built by the great Mughals and are situated on the banks of dallake. The gardens are full of trees flowers and fountains. One day trip is sufficient to explore all Mughals and gardens.

Mughal gardens built by Mughal emperors really present the scene of paradise on earth in kashmir. People visiting these gardens forget their problems and rest as in paradise. There is too much of peace of mind, neat and clean atmosphere, natural scenery, different people to interact and is really a quality time to spent there. Tourists should visit all Mughal gardens- all along Dal Lake.
