Good Place!!!

Good place. Like other places in Leh, scenic view on the way to Nubhra. You can enjoy camel ride & sand dunes at this altitude. Not much to do. Relax & enjoy the beauty of nature.

The picturesque place of Ladakh
Jul 2018 • Friends
As others say its definitely one the picturesque places of Ladakh!
Its beautiful, its soothing!
If u have the energy to patiently sit on camel and do the rides then definitely go for it!
Its a nice place to sit back, relax and enjoy the view! The white sand dunes, the 360 degree view, the flowing lake, and double hump camel rides! Sunsets and sunrise is a perfect too if at all we get to see.
On the way u should definitely to ATV rides for a little adventure.

Just the food options is too less so carry on if u plan to be there for hours!

Heaven on earth
Aug 2017 • Couples
During my holidays in Ladakh, we had traveled from Leh town to the picturesque Nubra Valley across the highest mountain pass Khardungla in the world. We were left mesmerized by the beauty of nature in this valley and all the landscapes seemed not real - as if we were seeing some movie unfold in front of our eyes. The Shylok river flowing through the valley amidst giant mountains was a heavenly sight. We had stayed at Camp Silver Sand in Hunder and visited beautiful Samstanling monastery in Sumur along with the sand dunes. At Hunder sand dunes, we enjoyed Bactrian camel ride and also visited the beautiful Diskit,Hunder monasteries.

B'ful Nubra - a must visit
Oct 2014 • Friends
Take out atleast two days from your schedule to visit the Nubra valley. Head past the Khardungla pass and down the valley to visit Diskit monastery, white sand dunes, Bactrian camels rides, nature resorts etc. You can also visit the Siachin base camp and Tuktuk village if time permits.

Nubhra valley was the most amazing part of the ladakh trip. We were a group of four people who visited ladakh for a 10 day trip and nubhra valley was the most amazing part.
The most fun part of staying in nubhra valley was the camping and staying in tent.
Our trip was a whole package from a travel website and they had arranged for the tent camping there. The view in the nubhra valley is amazing with soooo high rock mountains surrounding on both the sides. You can see high mountains just a kilometer away from your place of stay and you can literally go and touch them. Though selling liquor is banned there but sometimes people can get hold of a Old monk in frezzing conditions.
Staying in nubhra valley is a must while in ladakh.

Go go go, spend a couple of days there
Aug 2014 • Friends
If you are on a leisure trip, spend a couple of days in Nubhra valley (Hunder or Disket). The place is worth to stay for a week long even. It exposes the true beauty of himalayas, and is not difficult unlike pangong tso. Places around are Hunder, Disket, Siachen glacier, Panamik hot water springs, Turtuk village, monasteries, etc.

An evening in Nubhra Valley, Ladakh
ohh...what an evening...Nubhra valley.........
you have to pass Khardungla to reach Nubhra valley. Khardungla is at a height of 18,000 feet , the highest motorable road in the world. after crossing that naked mountains you reach the valley and sand dunes. Its quite windy and cool in the evening. You have double humped camels available for a ride. But would suggest more fun playing in the sand dunes with your family and friends. You have some beautiful tents available with river streams flowing aside. Nubhra vallley is surrounded with moutains and you wil find lots and lots of apricots trees.....its fun ........its a beautiful place.
