Visit in the evening in summers but bask in the sun in winters. Good picnic place to relax in nature. Beware of monkeys. For aquarium there is a separate entry.

A very nice picnic spot for tourists from outside Jammu. Those who could not visit the Mughal gardens in Srinagar must visit the place to get a feeling of fresh air and surroundings. Day time from 3-6 is best to visit.

Hi, You can ask for a matador ride. Matador is basically a sort of mini bus. You will find lots of Matador walas shouting "Baawe! Baawe!" Thats the one. They might charge you 10-20 Rs. You can also take an auto rickshaw.
