Hundreds of houseboat located in that area, its best places for stay
You can get river view from the rooms all the houseboats is horizontal and in dal lake almost all houseboats are parallel to each other

In that area no souvenir seller spoil your privacy

We stayed at New Shaheen houseboat on Jhelum. The river itself is beautiful. It feels great to cross the river on a small boat. There are fewer houseboats, so you get better privacy compared to other lakes, at a cheaper rate. Nice feeling.

This river is really clean and maybe even cleaner than the Dal lake :) and you can definitely get some really cheap houseboats to sleep for a good rate on this river.I stayed on a houseboat which is called H.B. New Armand near the S.P.S. Museum and the owners were friendly . The bridge upon the river is really funny because when you walk through it, it moves due to the waves of wind.. hahah !!!

This river flows between India and Pakistan but is best visualised in Srinagar. Zero Bridge on top of it is among the best place to take a picture on.
Highly recommended
