I booked my Spiti Valley through Mr. Mohit Sharma of The Great Himalayan travel agency. The overall experience was good. He is reliable and very quick in providing response. He suggested me good hotels and most importantly he provided me excellent and experienced driver Mr. Anil Kumar who drove us very safely and patiently throughout the trip. Anil is very knowledgable about this area. The rates provided by Mohitji are very competitive. Overall it is a good experience

With COVID affecting our travel schedules, I reminisce the tours my partner and I did last year. This was definitely one of the highlights of our Indian adventure. A wonderfully curated trip, backed by a great support team. You deserve the 5 stars.

I agree with everything Frank wrote below, as I was one of those "Kiwis". High praise and thanks to Rahul and his crew, accommodation was first class for that part of the world and there was really nothing to worry about except riding through an incredible corner of the planet. 5 stars!

We were a group of 5 Kiwi riders who joined the two couples (see review further below :-). We had planned this trip since the beginning of the year and chose Epic due to the amazing reviews and ratings they were getting! I can honestly say that Epic exceeded all expectations and we all had the most incredible time riding through some of the most spectacular scenery the earth has to offer. Our guide Rahul was super friendly and well organised, and his team of Adi (jeep driver) and Mr G (mechanic) meant we didn't need to worry about luggage or bike maintenance. First night was Manali where we checked out our bikes (one of our group had a fall and continued via jeep). Next day we crossed the Rohtang Pass and stayed in Jispa, following day on to Sarchu (glamping) via Baralacha Pass, then on to Leh via Nakeela, Kangla Jal and Taglang La passes, next day on to the amazing Nubra Valley (via Khardung La pass) staying in Diskit. Then on to Pangong Lake glamping in Spangmik, finally back to Leh via the breathtaking Chang La pass. We left the bikes in Leh and flew out from there. Total distance about 950kms. We had incredible weather (having just missed monsoon flash floods and landslides that trapped people on the mountain for three days), all days were sunny and warm. Only time I was cold was overnight in the tents due to the high altitude! There were still a fair few landslides to circumnavigate and also plenty of water hazards, offroading for kms on end, yaks, convoys of oil tankers and Indian army trucks to avoid! Definitely don't miss this once in a lifetime journey, and also do yourself a favour and use Epic. They arrange all accommodation, keep the bikes fueled and running, manage all permits etc, leaving you to enjoy the ride and the scenery :-)
