With the tables and chairs neatly placed inside the waterfall.. Having Kullu delicacies with your feet in the chilling water of the running waterfall next to your chair is indeed unforgettable.. We could actually see a small rainbow across our table due to the sun's position that time which was enthralling.. The road to the fall is a bit dusty and rocky.. So the ride was humpy.. However, the makkai di roti with shakkar and ghee, Rajma and kadi chaawal, sattu momos were too delicious... Had a great time

The road near the falls was covered with snow and we couldn't drive till bijli mahadev, which is 20 km from zana.
The food was great though. The water fall is not as big the attraction as the himachali food. It costs just 150 rupees per thali (meal). Great hospitality by locals and also a popular film shooting location.

Good place to visit during summer, not recommended during winter due to the snow and freezing water fall. But food is tasty.

Visit to Zana falls is mainly to try authentic kullu food. the location is far off and the road condition is very bad. The food is kind of hit and miss, some u like some u don't. I liked siddu but my wife didn't like it. The location of having food is great, you can sit right near the waterfalls with your legs in the water and enjoy ur food. A must visit place for the food enthusiastic.

There used to be a time when the locals of Manali would go to Jana for some local food and to get away from tourists. This used to be the secret place only locals knew about. There was just one dhaba on the waterfall, and the food was delicious.
But now things have changed. The place is full of tourists all the time. There are several restaurants competing for attention, and the food is nowhere near what it used to be :(

Our driver also didnot know the way to this fall, we insisted on going after reading various reviews on different blogs. While returning from Naggar Castle You will find a signboard towards left to jana falls. The road is small but very scenic covered by both side tall deodars pines. Some part of the road was kaccha. We could see the falls after some 11km of bumpy ride. There are two falls 1st one has lots of eating places and the canopy is good few mts ahead there was one more falls , we saw both of them and decided to eat in the first place as they had good seating place. Here you will get traditional himachali thali . They serve you makka roti, siddu, green chutney, rajmah, kadhi, red rice, gud, kheer. best part was the person who served us said do not order 4 thalis it will be heavy. It was really heavy due to the desi ghee. We enjoyed a lot .There was some chair kept in the area near the fall where one can submerge their feet in the water we tried but it was too cold to sit there for long we enjoyed the water but sat only for 5 mins :). every one should visit to taste the local food amidst nature

Awesome waterfall with tables and chairs just beneath it, giving a breathtaking wonderful experience. The local people here are the real jewels who give the guests a warm welcome and serve piping hot local food. Try the local dish Kulvi Dham here.
