This is a pretty nice place to stop at while going to Rohtang or the other way. Besides you have to stop here to show your permit.

We were stopped here for showing the permit go Rohtang. As there was jam so we decided to roam nearby. We felt that we are on the top of the Himalaya. We trees and zig zag roads.

Gulaba is a Snow Point when Rohtang Pass use to be closed it is one of the Best place to see Enjoyed it.

Gulaba is near about 10 km far from manali bus stand but this is the best place to enjoy tracking. you can enjoy snow tracking here even in the month of may.so this is best tourist place to visit in summers especially.

Yes tempo traveller comfortably takes you upto Gulaba. It even goes right upto and beyond Rohtang. You can get a good deal from the local travel or your hotel from this.

I guess for any trek whether its easy or difficult go with professionals like YHAI / Indiahikes / other private operators... But do not go with tourist guides. Sometimes Hamta pass trek happens in december too.

Depends on weather conditions, you May see in Rohtang, if very particular plan your visit in December third week onwards, still enquire through locals or weather conditions through weather prediction and then proceed,
