Many activities you can cover in Sayaji baug but the most amazing experience to witness here is the zoo! You can witness some wild animals just from a decent distance and click few pictures of those animals. On my recent visit here I saw Lioness, Lion, Tiger, Leopard, Crocodile, Deer, Peacock, Hippopotamus and few monkeys. There's a ticket that you have to buy from the counter. The ticket rates are quite minimum and affordable for everyone. The ticket costs around 20-30 rs and it is absolutely worth to have a walk around this Sayaji Baug Zoo and witness some wild animals. Safe to take kids along and they will definitely love to see lions and tigers! When in Vadodara one must definitely visit this zoo.

Baroda is not a very small town, its a big city. And still, in midst of busy traffic and bustling roads, there is an oasis of greenery with tall trees shielding from March morning sunrays. A lot of fallen leaves create a backdrop around which children push around, elderly persons walk in groups, friends talk animetedly.
And lone business traveller begins his day with a nice walk seeping morning air sans city pollution!

And as one completes the walk and exits after watching the zoo animals, there is a line up of small food vending stalls serving morning breakfast fare on the roadside. Patrons stand around enjoying local delicacies.

All in a all a very nice morning experience.

It is the one the famous baug in vadodara city. It is so well maintain. Everywhere inside a baug you will have a pleasant climate. In morning it feels so great when you will find bird chirping sound & all green natural beauty. The baug has toy train which is to explore a baug for a great view of nature & enjoyment for children. In early morning people can do walking, jogging, & exercise in this baug in a pleasant climate. At certain place in a baug you will find A best out of waste replica installed. The baug also has a museum inside it & has zoo. So you will find a lot of animals inside this zoo. It is a great baug with all green nature.

Popular among all ages and visitors because of its feel and varying attraction including Zoo and trees of different varieties. Morning walking is an experience for everyone as you can witness all sort of people feeling nostalgic and the same can be felt in their discussions. Place is centrally located and very near to Kala Ghoda landmark

The toy train and battery operated car are same rates. The botanical clock is a good attraction. The museum has artifacts from various countries / religions. The blue whale skeleton in the basement is a nice attraction...

The garden is decently maintained. They have also arranged for train n buggy ride, I will recommend to take the train since there is nothing much to see in the garden.

The garden also houses a Zoo, which is the main attraction. The cage is at 4-6 feet distance away, so enjoyable for the kids. However I pity the animals. Nevertheless definitely worth a visit.

This is a very big garden having toy train, museum, zoo and planetarium inside the garden. It is situated in centre of city. Attracts lots of crowd on weekends and holidays. Must visit place with family especially with kids who can enjoy full day there.

This is a large green space in the middle of this busy city. Nicely manicured lawns, a good number of large trees and plenty of benches for you to sit and relax.
The toy train ride covering the 100 acre can be enjoyed by all. Further, this garden has a big flower clock.
The beautiful Baroda Museum is also with in this park.
Though they have two cafeterias there they are always crowded and only limited items to choose from.
