This place is must to visit in Surat! But it looks like nobody cares keeping for many years:( Really distressing :( And please check location, in this map it is indicated in wrong place!

Dutch cemetery is historical place but need to improve this place. Nice architecture and beautiful art. Need to cleaning.

Surat which was the Head quarter of East India Company until it was shifted to Bombay, holds some un parallel pieces of History. Dutch Cemetry is a nice place to visit. The Main gate is always closed, Don't be disappointed, ask a local and there...More

If you are a history lover this place would attract you..However it is in a congested area of old Surat...place is not maintained...llocals come over to fly kites and play....lots of unkempt shrubbery and grass gives a neglected feel...SMC needs to restore this place

For those who love historic places and old architect, it is beautiful place to visit. Though you will get guided by GPS for about 100m from the site but after that one has to ask the local person to find the way as the entry...More

In 1730, Baghdadi Jew Joseph Semah arrived in Surat from Baghdad (Iraq) and founded the Surat synagogue and cemetery. The synagogue is now demolished but the cemetery can still be found on the Katargam-Amroli main road.only thing is disappointing why government is not taking such...More
