I was very excited about this high tide and low tide thing at first. We had to leave from the port early in the morning around 7:30 for Pirotan and reached around 10'o clock. The island is not so far from Bedi port but based on depth, passengers will be shifted from a bigger boat to a smaller one. The... More

First i heard about this place before coming to jamnagar.. This year, It got opened after 5 long years... I grabbed the opportunity as soon as I came to know about its opening. 1.5 hours of boat through the mangroves took us to this out of the world island. Get to know the Marine life, experienced real live corals, jelly... More

The access to this island is not allowed except for the Muslims going to the Daragah. But one can watch the birds and mangroves from the boat itself. Photo shooting the birds is also easily possible. A birdwatchers definitely enjoy the three hours fruitful ride ( without getting down at the island ) to the island.

the island has potential to bud as a marine national park, but a very poor management and a history of careless tourists have left the place desolate. Hard to get permission, even if you manage to get the series of permissions required, there is no standard boat service available, you need to book a ferry from the jetty, overall a... More

Pirotan is reached by sailing from the Bedi or Rozi Port. It takes about 2.5 hours of sailing to reach here.. One should know the high tide time to sail at the proper time. Obtaining of Permission from the Forest Department, Customs Dept., Ports Dept. & the Marine Police Dept. has to be done before planning. Hiring of passenger boat,... More
