This place is 10-12 km from jamnagar on the jamnagar- Rajkot highway. You can carry your own lunch and have a picnic as there are no restaurants nearby. Definitely one should not miss going to this place if you are a bird lover. Winter is the time to go and one should go early morning with good camera and you will have a lifetime experience.

This place is a bird watchers paradise. The place has been done up now since the time i visited a few years back. the entry fee is quite epensive. Very nice place for nature and bird lovers. It is situated ~20 km from Jamnagar city. Best time to visit is winter season. You won't find a public transport for this place easily, hence it's better to arrange your own vehicle. Vehicles are allowed inside the bird sanctuary. It is around 12km from Jamnagar. Visited in the early morning and observed the sunrise. Spotted many birds quite easily - one can take the car along the identified paths and observe the birds at leisure. We spotted almost 40 different birds, including Great White Pelican, Lesser & Greater Flamingo, various ducks, Green Bee-eater, Painted Stork, Grey Heron, Common Crane,... More
