A place of historical importance ruined by sheer neglect. There is a collection of tombs of royal queens in an open courtyard but the access to this place is horrible.
Encroachments all around and littered everywhere. Infact for a tourist, it is impossible to reach the actual access point (tip: ask the shop owners, they will guide you)

People are living inside, and the architecture is typical of Islamic Gujarat style.

Visit if you are really interested in history or else can be skipped.

The Rani no Hajiro are the tombs and mausoleums of the queens of the kings of the Muzaffarid Dynasty of Gujarat. The mausoleum is raised above ground and is a square building with and open courtyard where the tombs are held. The lower level is largely hidden from view thanks to the shops and stalls surrounding the building. These also cover large sections of the upper section, which is a great pity because once you climb up to the upper levels, the mausoleum is a beautiful building. It’s built in the wonderful Gujarati style with lattice works and highly elaborate columns of superb craftsmanship, especially the colonnade surrounding the courtyard.

Despite being a protected site, the condition of the building is poor, but still good enough to make it worthwhile visiting.
