We purchased two beautiful rings from the guys at Lala Arts this year. The brothers spoke to us at length about our requirements. They sourced a choice of beautiful tanzanite stones and created two stunning rings. We have dealt with a lot of jewellers in Candolim - but this is the first time that we have written a recommendation. We will be back next season.

We chatted with Ahmet on our way to the beach. I ‘liked his face’ but was cynical about visiting a jewellers without recommendations. He gave me a card and asked us to read up on them and to ask around as to their reputation. I had brought precious jewellery with us on our first trip to candolim to be repaired/remodelled so I took the card. After reading the excellent reviews we decided to visit - what a good decision! Basharat was knowledgable and intuitive- he understood exactly what we wanted to achieve and offered excellent, honest advice and suggestions. We had work done on 4 pieces of jewellery- all to a fantastic standard. We were very happy with the price they charged too. In all I would not hesitate to recommend them. Whilst we were there a family came in who had been sold a fake ring in Jaipur. They were very upset to be told a ring they had paid £300 for was practically worthless. Basharat made her an exact replica (but genuine) and sent it to her in the uk - without payment. He asked that once they had it valued in the uk he was confident it would be shown to be worth at least £600-at which point only then should she send him the £300 he was charging. We saw both rings. Their work was excellent. In a resort full of options I thoroughly recommend Lala arts.

Where do we start, we,ve been going to see Bash, for several years and they boys have made us some fabulous unique items.( see photos ) We have had differant repairs on other rings(not theirs free of charge) They coated my deceased mothers wedding band,in white gold & inlaid 5 quality diamonds, one for each grandchild. Another time he gave my husband 2 diamond ear studs valued at £1000. Let him take them to england free of charge, so we could get them valued and pay the following year. So we did. Great service. People you can trust. We wont use anyone else.
