Just awesome!!! I do not have enough words to state the beauty of this place. Though it was monsoon season , jeeps were not able to travel due to rise in water , we took a risk to go there with the local people there in bikes. Initially asked 1500, but after negotiations they agreed for a pay of 1000/pax.... More

This place is simply fabulous. It is near Mollem, a bit far from main Goa but it is worth giving this place a visit.

We visited Dudhsagar on 15th Aug. Memorable, indeed on all counts. We went with a guide - Wahab. Trekked along the railway track from Kullem. Wahab's friends who were to arrange jeeps ditched him and that made us wait for an hour. and finally we reached the falls. The approach was filled with gushing waters. But the sight of the... More

The waterfall is absolutely amazing. We went in the rainy season, so the water was rough and wild. Be prepared to stand up to your knees in water, to get there. The reward is epic! However, we went with a guide, who styles himself 'Santos'. We were a party of two and were joined by an Indian girl. Because of... More

This place is a must go in Goa. Mesmerizing beauty of mother nature. Just keep in mind that this place is around 70-80 kMs from the main beaches and hence would take atleast 7-8 hours to visit the place. So plan accordingly in your trip.

We went from Kolhapur to CastelRock Station.. There were announcements there about 'NO-STOPPING AT DUDHSAGAR OR YOU WILL BE FINED 1000 and 6 Months JAIL'. We were late to had no option 'convincing' passenger train , so went by a regular train.. Obviously there were police who were not letting us to climb down at Dudhsagar station. Yet we climbed... I was one of those "privileged" guys who got a chance to trek on the railway lines to the falls (It was dangerous then too, but I spend most of the time in a forest as I am an avid trekker and run an eco tours firm named Nomads By Choice). Had to keep listening to any whistle of train... More

This was probably the best experience of our visiting Goa. The water is so clear and pure that it is rightly call dudhsagar falls. In order to go there you will have to take a taxi and cross through bhagwan Mahaveer sanctuary.

Remember that image which always get circulated all the time on social network sites. This is what it is. It is around 80 KM from Panjim and a perfect place to add a worthy day in your trip. Just make sure that you reach by 4 PM there. You could actually go to near the fall and take that natural... More
