We booked a full day of excursions with the Dudhsagar waterfall being the first sight to see. The bus was more like a minivan and seeing as we have three fairly tall boys in the family, it turned out to be pretty uncomfortable travelling. The driver was quite liberal in his ability to swerve through traffic but Indians tend to... More

Its one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen, completely jaw dropping and mesmerizing! A must see even if your there for a short while. Unfortunately we where only allowed an hour as part of the day tour we booked onto and I wish I could have stayed longer. I was amazed at how busy it was, there... More

We will start with the positive points. The waterfall itself looks very nice, very picturesque. The pool as the base is very cool and lovely to swim in. The negatives; The location was too busy and you had to almost have to fight to get access around the area. As it is a rocky area access can be difficult and... More

We did this trip as part of the jungle book tour with Thomas cook. Lovely place and the water lovely and cold a great relief from the heat. Massive fish to be seen. My advise would be to wear beach shoes as it can be tricky walking over the boulders and getting into the water with bare feet.

Dudhsagar falls as the name suggests is a natural water fall, dudh in English means milk. The appearance of the fall is as if milk is falling from height. First of all reaching this place is costly Rs. 400 per person for the vehicle which will take you inside the jungle up to the falls. This is over and above... More

Little overcrowded and rushed because the Trekker drivers push you to exit within 1.30 hours. But breathtaking view of the falls and drive up over rugged roads takes you through the river bed at 2-3 places, making it a memorable trip. Worth the time spent in getting there.

It took us 2 hours from Calangute and were then queuing up to share a jeep with strangers to get there and back. If you are adventurous then this will be right up your street? However, getting to the base of the waterfall involves climbing over rocks and it's not easy to get in or out of the water. My... More
