On a nice evening in a small town.

Good performances using local and imported talent. Extremely well priced for an enjoyable afternoon or evening entertainment option.

I saw Fiddler on the Roof there and it was on par with shows I've seen in NYC and Vegas. Seating was limited. Also they have a concession stand with snacks and drinks.

This is a great classic theater with incredible support from the local community. They are always making improvements and bringing in bigger and better shows. Come enjoy a show sitting in one of the brand new seats just installed. :)

We have been to the Flickinger Center a number of times, but last week we went to the Nelson's Illusion Show.... I was embarrassed for the performers. You could see them digging around for the doves in their coats, holding up capes to hide things as they swapped out. The blue hairs that normally attend the Flickinger events thought it... More

We attended a Benefit Concert for COPE, a local not for profit at the Flickinger Center for Performing Arts (a 1950s-era movie theater) and having the event at the Flickinger really enhanced the experience. Just walking under the marquee with the neon lights was a grand feeling, which brought back memories of theaters of my youth. The new carpet and... More

The Flickinger offers a variety of performances year-round that appeal to all audiences. I have been to see many shows there and am always delighted in the quality of the performances. Whether you live in the Alamogordo area, or are just traveling through, it's worth checking out their performance schedule. Tickets are usually only $10 per person too!

This former movie theater was turned into a theater for performing arts 25 years ago due to the generosity of a local business woman, Margaret Flickinger. There is someone at the theater Monday thru Friday from 9:00AM to 1:00PM to answer any questions you may have & apprise you of the coming attractions. Just recently I attended a Neil Diamond... Alamogordo has renovated and restored an old movie theater and transformed it into a performing arts theater. It seats almost 500 people, and it's a very comfortable theater. The seats have plenty of room and the stage is large. Acoustics are the best.

Outstanding entertainment for a very cheap price. Lots of variety, local and international culture. Alamogordo is sure a lucky city to have this.
