We hiked the Dog Canyon Trail and made 6 miles. It is very difficult and sometimes a little dangerous. We are in our 70's and felt good about our accomplishment. I am not sure I would attempt it again though. Once is enough.

This is in the state park. Very nice visitor center and campgrounds were impeccable. The views from this area are for at least 100 miles.
