We visit many Art galleries however this one not much excited. But definitely this gallery needs maintenance. There are very few things which can look attractive.

I visited the Mahakoshal Art Gallery after visiting the Mahant Ghasidas Museum situated opposite it & the DK Hospital in the civil lines.The building itself can be be considered as a heritage site though it is very poorly maintained by the authorities & needs improvement...More

Different and attractive octagonal in shape by carved stones, Grotesquely exaggerated representation for the collection in art work, paintings and sculptures. The Gallery organise many competitions.

It is less than a kilometer away from the Jaistambh Chowk. This building hosts a number of art exhibitions but the building itself is unique.

Mahakoshal is an old art gallery famous for its art exibition. A lot of drawing, painting and rangoli competitions and exibitions are held in this art gallery. even summer classes are organised here.

This is a heritage building which, as commented by the other reviewers also, is not maintained very well by the government. Located in heart of Raipur city, from the exterior of it, This building looks like an old french building.

This in fact is the original building where Mahant Ghasidas Museum was located in the late 18th century. The colonial style building is best admired from the outside. An art gallery now occupies the building but is not much used.
