This is the best place to see in Arku zone .one must see each inch of cave and go up the stairs to have Darshan of shivlingam.Visit to Vishakhapatnam without visiting Borra caves is incomplete.Taxi ride from Vizag to Arku Tribal museum and caves and back takes roughly 9 hours and costs ₹3000/.plus entry fee and eatables

THREE hours by road through a wonderful scenic ghat road lead you to these wonderful natural stalactite caves made somewhat unnatural by the artificial lighting. ONE thing which i personally found irritating was the charges levies seperately for the mobile, camera and video along with the entrance fees. Who in their right mind would not want to capture this natural... More

Borra caves are naturally formed calciferous caves duly illuminated. But no further improvement for about a decade or so. Tourism department should consider installing latest lighting systems. Araku valley is a beautiful cool place to stay in hot AP state. If more tourist attractions are introduced, it will definitely attract double the present number of tourists.

Must visit this place. It is beautiful. Too much of walking but worth it. The shiv temple inside is calming.

Awesome place. Was very upsetting to see the multi colour lights inside. Spoilt the experience to some extent. Take a guide. We paid 200rs. Had a flight of around 300steps. The bamboo chicken or bamboo potato was very yummy. The chicken or potato is filled in bamboo without oil and cooked on fire for about an hour. We ordered before... More

Bora Caves are one of the most sought after attractions if you are travelling to Vizag. Located at a distance of around 3 hours by Bus; they are located near to Araku Valley. The colorful lighting adds to the mystic of the place..

Visited it in dec'16 , it is an average sight seeing to visitors. People who love caves sort of visits can enjoy though , it has some different view regarding the stone structure and comparatively with other caves which are there in Andhra Pradesh , it could be the best after belum caves.
