Nice valley ,excellent one day trip from vizag, you find coffee garden,tribal museum ,park ,cave.from vizag by train or by car tiu can visit.

A very nice tourist spot. Advice is to take a train ride from Visakhapatnam to Araku to make your visit more joyable.

Unbelievable beauty, fresh nature and awesome climate. Located about 110 kms from Vizag, perfect for weekend bile rides, Araku is the gem in Vizag's crown. The weather is romantic, the roads enchanting and the place charming. The ride takes you through hilly roads and lovely weather. Do visit the Tribal museum and Coffee museum there. Beautiful valley it's approx 90 Kms from vizag good to travel by train borabora caves r main attraction small waterfall nice museums tribal and coffee one day trip is sufficient, if ur non veg taste bamboo chicken

The beauty of Araku can only be enjoyed by traveling there. The bus ride from Vizag to Araku is amazing. So is the nature in the valley.

Araku - it is around 30 kms from Borra caves. The ghat section is around 51 kms in total stretch and Borra caves is located in 24th km of the ghat section. There is Katiki waterfalls near Borra and one needs to take 4-wheel drive to reach this falls. We skipped it and we stopped inbetween at Galikonda view point.... More

This is second visit to Araku, first time I came with my friends then I stayed in krishna Tara resorts, second visit with my family now I stayed in haritha valley resorts, best place to stay with family but room service is poor, autos are cheap at Araku, 4 places to visit in araku 1 gardens 2 tribal museum 3... My suggestion is go by Train from Vizag, Awesome views!! Stay in APTDC resort, one would love the scenic environment and Araku local culture!!

Plan it during Summer if planning to escape hot summer for a while (Janata near Visakhapatnam ) . Winter would also be great as the greens have a lot to offer.
